Chatroom Etiquette

Our group offers unique benefits by having traders post their entries and exits in public:

The rules below developed over time from trying different things and seeing their effect on traders and group culture.

1. Live Session

When the U.S. market is open we focus strictly on price action and trades. BPA terminology only during trading session. General chitchat and other ideas become OK when U.S. market is closed.

2. Using Bot

All the commands are available at Bot Commands Page
To practice using the bot or to run some commands frequently please message the bot in private to reduce noise.

3. Don't Judge

A big part of the social accountability that we practice in chat involves alerting each other if someone isn't taking a loss. However, we don't criticize others while they're in a trade since we don't know anything about their management plan. Debating someone's interpretation of the markets should be reserved for after their trade is over.

4. Scaling In or Out

Mention your addon price in chat but no need to record it with bot.
This boosts the accountability factor when in a large position.

5. Don't Show Actual Money

Everyone's life situation and account size is different. While it's encouraging to see big winners, it's ultimately detrimental to developing traders to compare against others based on actual $ amounts. We want to avoid hero worship and ego gratification. That's why we actively discourage any form of comparing or competition between traders.

6. No Poaching

If our group name comes up in a private conversation with someone else that's fine but don't explicitly engage in private messaging people in other chats to join ours. Vice versa, if you receive unsolicited messages from someone else, report it to admins.

7. Copyrighted Content

8. Affiliate Links/Codes

We allow discussions on proprietary trading firms (prop firms) with a focus on identifying potential scams and fraudulent activities. We also welcome conversations about genuine opportunities and good deals within the prop trading space. However, it is strictly prohibited to share affiliate links or codes related to prop firms. This rule ensures our discussions remain valuable and prevent the group from becoming cluttered with promotional content.

Risk Disclosures

CFTC Rule 4.41: Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations, unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Risk Disclosure: Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described herein. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.

Trade Results Disclosure: Any trades presented may not have been traded in a live account and should be considered hypothetical.

Trade/Chatroom Disclosure: Presentations are for educational purposes only and the opinions expressed are those of the presenters only. All trades presented should be considered hypothetical and should not be expected to be replicated in a live trading account.

Testimonial Disclosure: Testimonials appearing on this website may not be representative of other clients or customers. Testimonials are not a guarantee of future performance or success.
